Purpose of the Tour
The purpose of this tour is four-fold:
1. Exposure to the Native American context and Navajo culture
2. Experience God’s heart for Navajo Nation
3. Dreaming and praying together with AZAG & AGUSM leadership
4. Capturing stories of STL to take back and inspire students in our churches
Our missions host will be Southwest Native Youth Director, Pastor Jackie Holgate. Dr. Jim Lopez, our Arizona Native American Ministries Director, will lead an orientation on the Native context, and we will also hear from the President of SAGU American Indian College, Dr. Jonathan Gannon. We will experience the ministry of Speed the Light in action, where our funds have directly invested in this region. This will be a great opportunity for us to serve and pray together as we dream of Arizona's future missions endeavors and capture stories to take back and encourage our churches.
Transportation: We will all ride in a convoy of passenger vans from SAGU/AIC campus in Phoenix

What is AIM?
We go to the nations every year on short-term mission trips through Ambassadors In Mission (AIM), the short-term youth missions program of the Assemblies of God. We encourage every student to go on a foreign mission trip before they graduate high school.
AIM trips can either be stateside or international. AIM started in 1966 and now nearly 10,000 students participate on these trips each year. AIM is a coordinated effort between students, leaders, missionaries and host churches. With Assemblies of God missions in over 250 countries, the opportunities are endless!
