Meet the Director
Jiovan (Yoyo) Garcia
Yoyo is a Assemblies of God U.S Missionary serving as our Network’s Youth Alive Director. He is passionate about students finding freedom in Christ and restoration and healing in mental health. Yoyo served as the High School Director at 29:11 Church in Tempe for two years. Before and during this time, he assisted AZ Youth Alive at various events, campus clubs, and school assemblies. Alongside a list of accomplishments is the AZYM meme page (@campchella). Youth Alive strives to Evangelize every student in every school with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Campus Clubs
We believe in students reaching students, and leading a life-giving campus club is a great opportunity for students to reach their schools for Christ. In a world where students are coming to church less, leading a life-giving campus club is bringing the church to the school. It is our goal to have a life-giving campus club in every school.
School Assemblies
One of the most exciting ways that Youth Alive gets to team up with our churches and campus clubs is through school assembly outreaches. Picture everyone in your school hearing a positive, challenging message in the morning, and hearing the message of the gospel at night. Maybe God could use you to bring this life-changing day into your school. We’d love to team up with you to bring an assembly to your school.
Invite Yoyo
Yoyo has the privilege of representing Arizona Youth Alive by speaking at churches, youth groups, conferences, and camps in Arizona and all over the country. He would love to visit and share what is on his heart with you or can speak on a specific topic. Your youth group WILL be memed when he visits.
